Soul Living Series – Entry 7
Somewhere between growing up and getting things done, we forgot how to play.
We learned how to plan, hustle, check off lists, and chase purpose—
but we forgot how to be.
We started calling joy “a luxury.”
We labeled rest as “lazy.”
And we started believing that fulfillment only comes after we’ve earned it.
But here’s the truth: Play is sacred.
It’s not something extra—it’s something essential.
Because when life starts feeling too heavy,
play is what reminds us to breathe again.
Why Play Matters
🎠Play restores perspective.
It reminds you that life isn’t all timelines and to-do lists.
That presence is enough. That this moment is still worth enjoying.
💆🏾‍♀️ Play heals burnout.
It gives your nervous system permission to exhale.
To let the pressure fall away.
To remember that joy can be medicine, too.
🎨 Play reopens creativity.
It lets inspiration, desire, and lightness slip through the cracks of routine.
It reminds you that you’re not a machine—you’re a creator.
🔥 Play is sacred rebellion.
It says, “I’m allowed to enjoy this moment, even while I’m becoming.”
Joy is not the opposite of growth—it’s part of it.
Lately, I’ve been learning that play isn’t childish—it’s divine.
It reconnects me with that soft, curious part of my soul that still believes in magic.
And maybe that’s what being in flow really means—
to be both becoming and enjoying at the same time.
Because the truth is, play doesn’t pull you away from purpose.
It refreshes your purpose.
It reminds you why you started in the first place.
So when life starts to feel too serious, too structured, too heavy—
find something that makes you laugh again.
Sing off-key. Paint without a plan.
Run toward joy like it’s calling your name.

đź’« Soul Living
You don’t have to finish healing to dance.
You don’t have to be “ready” to laugh.
Play is presence in motion—a reminder that being alive is the point.
Stay Inspired. Stay Connected … Stay in flow 💕
