Founder of Seated in Grace with Ja’Nae

Hey sis, I’m Ja’Nae, the founder of Seated in Grace with Ja’Nae, a Bible-based teaching and transformation ministry created to help Christian women leave survival mode, heal emotionally, renew their minds, and become who God created them to be. Seated in Grace was not created from a place of perfection. It was born from my personal journey of survival, surrender, healing, discipline, and transformation with God.

I know what it feels like to carry more than you were emotionally prepared to hold. I know what it feels like to experience grief, instability, rejection, financial hardship, unhealthy relationships, and the pressure of rebuilding your life while raising a child. There was a season when I was homeless, jobless, grieving, and doing everything I could to survive as a single mother. The patterns that once helped me survive eventually became the same patterns preventing me from experiencing peace.

For a long time, I believed strength meant carrying everything alone. I thought discipline meant pushing myself harder, and I thought healing meant praying about my pain while continuing to live from the same survival responses. But God began to show me that I could not become the woman He created me to be while remaining attached to the survival patterns I developed

Healing required more than inspiration. It required surrender, honesty, accountability, discipline, renewed thinking, and a willingness to partner with God in my transformation.

With God’s help, I began rebuilding my life from the inside out. I learned how to recognize my survival patterns, regulate my emotions, renew my mind, rest without guilt, develop healthy boundaries, and become disciplined without being driven by shame or perfectionism. God took me from homelessness and joblessness to stability, entrepreneurship, and building a six-figure business. But the greatest transformation was not financial.

It was becoming a woman who was emotionally healthier, spiritually grounded, disciplined, peaceful, and secure in her identity in Christ. That journey became the foundation of Seated in Grace with Ja’Nae.
