This breakfast casserole is not only easy but also filling and flavorful! Try it on a weekend or a holiday morning and sit back and enjoy your family and friends!!
Copycat Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole
INGREDIENTS:
- Breakfast sausage (1 roll)
- Onions (1 diced)
- Can of cream of celery (1)
- Shredded cheese (3 cups total - 2 mixed in & 1 on top)
- Sour cream (16oz)
- Melted butter (1/2 cup)
- Frozen Hashbrowns ( 32oz)
- Salt, Pepper, & Garlic Powder (season to taste)
DIRECTIONS:
- Saute diced onion and breakfast sausage until all pink is gone
- To meat mixture, fold in the shredded cheese, sour cream, cream of celery, and melted butter.
- Once fully mixed add in the hash browns and fold incorporated. ( I normally taste the mixture before adding hashbrowns to see if I need to season (salt, pepper, and/or garlic powder)
- To a greased 9x13 pan add in mixture
- Bake on 350 for 45 minutes and ENJOY!
