🌙 About Me — Heather Sims Thompson

Hi, I’m Heather — the heart behind Setareh Bunnies, Starlit Start, and Starlit at Home.

I live in beautiful Utah with my husband, my daughter, and our little “family zoo” of beloved animals who inspire everything I create: two dogs, three cats, two chinchillas, and of course… my sweet Holland Lops, Poppy and Floppy.

I’ve spent years raising and nurturing animals — from ethically breeding Yorkies, Westies, and Standard Poodles, to bottle-raising over 50 orphaned kittens, to working in a veterinary ER. What I’ve learned is simple but powerful:

✨ Animals thrive when they feel safe, understood, and gently supported.

That belief led me to create the Starlit Start Bunny Curriculum (for breeders) and Starlit at Home (for new bunny families).

Both programs are soft, neuroscience-informed, and built around emotional wellbeing — helping bunnies grow into calmer, more confident companions.

My mission is to bring education, compassion, and clarity to the rabbit community so families feel empowered… and bunnies feel safe.
