Hi, I'm Shawnelle.
I've been exploring creative places around the world for years, wandering through fabric shops, museums, fashion exhibits, and hidden little places that spark inspiration. Through my sewing school, Future Fashion Designers Academy, I've spent more than 16 years helping people discover the confidence and joy that sewing brings. Along the way, I began sharing my adventures through my YouTube series, Sew on the Road, so others could experience these wonderful places right along with me.
Now I'd love to bring those adventures a little closer to home.

For over 16 years I've taught people how to sew beautiful clothes.
But somewhere along the way, I realized something.
The people who walked into my classroom weren't just learning to use a sewing machine.
They were rediscovering confidence.

Sewing became the thread that stitched together a more creative life.

Absolutely. You can cancel your membership whenever you'd like. I hope each month's envelope becomes something you genuinely look forward to, but I want your membership to be as enjoyable and flexible as the adventures we share.

Many of the stories come from my travels throughout Europe and across the United States as I visit fabric stores, museums, fashion exhibits, and hidden creative gems. Others are inspired by everyday moments that remind me creativity can be found almost anywhere if we take the time to notice.
Who writes the letters?
Every letter is personally written by me, Shawnelle Cherry. Through my sewing school, Future Fashion Designers Academy, and my YouTube series, Sew on the Road, I've had the joy of sharing sewing education and creative adventures for years. Now I'm excited to bring those experiences a little closer through handwritten-style letters that feel personal, encouraging, and filled with inspiration.
