Photography is a key factor for your business or brand and is mostly used for websites, social media platforms, and other graphics. Photography is the most overlooked factor in a fair percentage of businesses. You may think "photography isn't that important" or "it's just a photo" but in reality, photos are a lot more than "just a photo". Photography sells a certain lifestyle, tells a story, creates personality, showcases solutions, etc. While you can use stock photos, it's strongly recommended to use your own photos when selling physical products like apparel, cosmetics, or accessories. Personal photos provide customers with an authentic representation of what they're purchasing. While stock photos may seem like an easy or cheaper decision, they will not fully capture your brand's essence. Stock photos are better used to fill space when there's no direct relation to your products or services. Although stock or AI images may look great, always think from your viewer's perspective and consider the photos' longevity. As a designer, it's highly recommended to ensure the best representation of your brand.
