Charity

Proceeds from every product on this site will go towards charity Insha'Allah.

The charity is a local one and has a special place in my heart. Green Dome for Little Hearts is dedicated to bringing young adults, families and especially children closer to Allah and his Prophet and instilling a deep love in their hearts for their faith. The money will be used for buying more books to add to the growing collection in the library Insha'Allah. In the ever increasingly confusing world our children are growing up in, it has never been more important that they have strong, relatable characters who not only share the same faith and feelings as them but also allow our children to immerse themselves different experiences and cultures that they may not otherwise have been exposed to allowing for an expanded, holistic world view and grow their characters in the best of ways. Storytelling has and will probably always remain a vital tool in raising and educating empathetic, God-conscious, children with a firm sense of self. (Gone are my Uni days of being able to write elaborate sentences that are cohesive and actually make sense 😂, I hope my waffle makes sense insha'allah- basically- stories are important, and let's help get a wide variety of books onto the shelves at the library!)

The reason I haven't written exact percentages is because I am not a business, I am just a single person and I don't have the time or the mental capacity to be working out the exact amounts and feeling the weight of responsibility on my head to get the percentages just right. As you can imagine I already have a lot on with four children, a house to clean, meals to make and a laundry basket that is never empty! Just know that my intention is that it makes it's way to where it's needed insha'allah. A portion to GreenDome and the rest to making sure this journey is sustainable insha'allah.

May Allah accept our efforts and keep our intentions pure and may He increase us in every goodness in this world and the next.
