About Me
I’m Shirley Springwater, and I grew up in the heart of mid-America, where the rhythm of small-town life and the warmth of family gatherings shaped my love for creativity and storytelling.
I’ve always been a painter, but after losing my husband of more than sixty-five years, I discovered a new passion — writing and illustrating storybooks. I even taught myself Photoshop, proof that it’s never too late to learn something new or chase a dream.
My stories are filled with family, laughter, and the simple magic of the seasons — the glow of a Christmas morning snowfall, Halloween candy tumbling from the sky, and the joy of a beloved dog on Valentine’s Day.
