Journey is a fully offline, local music player — no subscription, no signal required, no Always online algorithm deciding what you hear. Just your library, on your machine, always yours.
It listens to your songs and builds smart playlists that actually flow — no more jarring jumps that regular shuffle throws at you.

No. Journey is fully offline — once installed, it scans and plays your local music library without ever needing to connect to anything. Your first license activation requires a one-time internet connection, and periodically after that if you move Journey to a new machine, but day-to-day listening works completely offline.
Journey doesn't include any music — you'll need your own .mp3 files already stored on your machine. Journey scans your existing library and builds smart, flowing playlists from what you already have; it's a player and organizer, not a music source.
No — your license moves with you. If Journey detects it's running on a new machine, it will briefly reconnect to verify your license, then continue working offline as normal. You won't need to repurchase, just re-verify once on the new machine.
