About Me
I write organ music for pianists, amateurs, and volunteer musicians who are asked to play the organ for real church services — often with little time, little training, and a lot of responsibility.
Many churches today cannot rely on professional organists every week. Pianists step in, sometimes at short notice, wanting to help their church but finding that organ playing feels unexpectedly difficult. Hymns don’t connect smoothly, sustaining pedals are missing, and traditional SATB scores can feel overwhelming rather than helpful.
That is where my music comes in.
What Makes My Music Different
My arrangements are written specifically for pianists transitioning to organ and for organ beginners who want to play well for worship, not for exams or recitals.
- Simplified textures that are easier to manage in real services
- Smooth, singable legato that supports congregational singing
- Clear voicing without dense SATB reading
- Practical pedal parts, often using the pedal for a warm 16′ foundation rather than technical complexity
The result is music that sounds full, calm, and confident — even when played by a non‑professional.
Written for Real Church Situations
These arrangements are not concert pieces. They are written for:
- Sunday services
- Hymn accompaniments and introductions
- Volunteers playing once a month (or less)
- Pianists adapting quickly from piano to organ
My goal is to help you sit at the organ and think:
“Yes — I can play this, and it will sound right for worship.”
Why I Do This
Many organ resources assume years of training, advanced technique, and daily practice. But many church musicians are amateurs giving their time generously, often juggling work, family, and ministry.
I believe:
- Serving musically should feel encouraging, not intimidating
- Simpler music can still sound beautiful and dignified
- Pianists deserve materials that respect what they already know
I write to bridge the gap between piano and organ, and between willingness and confidence.
Who This Is For
My music is especially suited to:
- Pianists asked to play organ occasionally
- Amateur organists supporting church worship
- Retired or returning musicians rebuilding confidence
- Churches relying on volunteers rather than professionals
If you sometimes play real services — and want the music to feel smoother, steadier, and more supportive — you are exactly who I write for.
