Hi, I'm Sarah, founder of Smallbizbod and The Bid Zone.

Smallbizbod is my operational management business, built to give sole traders, micro businesses, and SMEs the back-office support they need to actually run smoothly: bookkeeping, compliance, business administration, and the unglamorous but essential systems behind a business that works.

The Bid Zone is where I focus specifically on bid management and tendering, helping small businesses compete for contracts that once felt like they were only open to much bigger players.

I hold qualifications in business administration, bookkeeping and accounts, and project management, and I've spent years managing the end-to-end tender process for real organisations; writing bids, reviewing submissions, and helping business owners understand a system that can feel designed to keep them out.

Everything I sell here comes from that same place: practical resources built from real experience, not recycled theory. The Bidders' Handbook and its companion toolkit are the first of these, and there'll be more to come as I keep building out resources for small businesses who want to punch above their weight.
