You work hard. You did better than your parents. Now you have your own children. You’re finally reaping the fruit of your labor. Then you realize. Your children could care less about money and success. They don’t want to sustain your fortune. In fact, they blame it for consuming all your time and attention.
It looks like all your hard-earned savings, long term planning, and investments may dwindle in their hands just like the Vanderbilts in less than three generations unless you do something fast. What do you do? Pivot.
What do you expect. You took away all your children’s ambitions. You wanted them to follow in your desperate footsteps. But they’re not desperate. You made that possible.
Perhaps you didn’t want them to have the hardships you experienced. But it doesn’t mean they cannot learn to succeed in life in a different way. Perhaps it’s even a better way.
What’s going on here? Perhaps your children were sent on a mission from the Creator of the Universe. Their mission is not just to fatten wallets but to fatten souls. They need purpose.
This is the generation that paves the way for spirituality, sustainable living, as well as ethical and moral behavior that benefits others as well as themselves. That’s their purpose. That's progress. They seek and NEED tools that align with that purpose.
Don't get me wrong. They need money. We all do. However, unlike previous generations, their goal is not necessarily to be rich alone, but to be HAPPY. Previous generations often got all the way to the end of their lives before realizing they needed this too.
Happiness also includes success and prosperity. Rest assured; this generation prioritizes happiness (joy and fulfillment) over wealth as an exclusive goal.
You can have it all. It may not come all at once. But it will come if you are intentional. Having it all usually means they put GOD first. Only GOD can show people how to be rich, happy, healthy etc in a way tailor made to each person. What makes you happy may not make some one else happy. How do you define joy?
But first, they need help refraining from this digital addiction. You know what it is. It’s the tablet you sat in front of them while you talked for hours on your “smartphone”, in flight travel, or while with your friends.
What do they need? They need to learn how to THINK for themselves.
As much as you love your children, you simply cannot be there for them everywhere they go twenty four hours a day seven days a week. Only GOD can do that. Let GOD be their primary guide (Inner Tutor or intuition). GOD is a living "divine tool".

Schools don’t teach thinking. Governments hope you don’t ever think. Corporations want you to pay them to think for you – for your “added convenience”. And pharmaceuticals want to numb you from thinking at all.
You were not sent here to please your parents. Respect them.
Your children were not sent to emulate you. There is already one you. They need to hear that inner Voice that unfolds their divine purpose, soul mate, place to live so they can continue to develop and thrive.
Hear the trumpet of the future. Much of the best of it was already laid out in the past. We just need to revisit the “ethics of the ancients”.
This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls." Jeremiah 6:16
