I'm Sonia Bisaccia, MD, a board-certified family medicine physician and founder of Clover Direct Primary Care. I completed my family medicine residency at Stamford Hospital/Columbia University in 2013 and opened my DPC practice in West Chester, Pennsylvania in 2024.

Before becoming a physician, I worked for a number of years in management consulting, particularly with the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, with a focus on organizational development and knowledge management. That experience shaped the way I approach complicated systems: break them down, figure out where the information is getting lost, and give people a clear process they can actually follow.

Throughout my career I've seen firsthand how difficult it can be for patients to navigate the healthcare system, especially when insurance gets in the way of getting the care they need. And it’s just gotten more complicated over time.

I created this store to share practical, straightforward tools to help patients better understand their healthcare, make informed decisions, and more easily navigate the current healthcare landscape.

My goal isn't to overwhelm you with medical or insurance jargon. It's to give you useful information, explain how things work, and help you feel more prepared when you're dealing with a complicated healthcare system. I hope you find this helpful!
