Jamalluddin Mahmud SMS, PPT has served as a teacher in English Language at the Muslim College Klang, an economist at the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and the Deputy Group Managing Director of Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bernard (now known as Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad).

On retirement, while continuing to study Arabic, he also taught the same language.

Using his management exposures and teaching skills and experiences, he was able to facilitate the understanding of this intricate subject among his adult learners in an atmosphere of convivality, fun and joy.
