I am practically self-taught when it comes to knitting, and still have a great need to try my hand at it, figure out problems, and develop further.

Brioche knitting (Patent), especially two-color, Lace knitting and mosaic knitting are probably my favorites. Closely followed by knitting with beads, Short Rows and swatches. The hours fly by when I start trying to improve a technique or find a solution to something I see in my head.

After spending many years and a lot of energy adjusting and changing knitting patterns to make garments fit my body, I started making my own knitting patterns. I have been doing this since the 80's. I didn't stop at garments, and also made knitting patterns for hats, mittens, slippers, and what became my great passion – shawls.

It wasn't until 2018 that I dared to publish my first knitting patterns. As my knowledge and confidence grew, I began designing blankets and garments too. Designing has become an important part of my everyday life.

Over the years I have tried most hobbies in addition to knitting and crocheting. Embroidery, weaving, sewing, spinning, sock knitting machine and a regular knitting machine. I am sure the list will keep growing.
