Star Stoep is not a company, so no registration number applies. It is not a member of any self-regulatory or accreditation body and does not subscribe to any code of conduct or alternative dispute resolution code.

Products: each product page describes what the file does, what is inside and the file format.

Price: the price shown in South African rand is the full price. No VAT is added (Star Stoep is not registered for VAT) and there is no delivery charge.

Payment: through Paystack's secure checkout. Card and bank details are entered on Paystack's payment page and are not sent to Star Stoep. Paystack states that it is PCI DSS 3.2 compliant as a Level 1 Service Provider.

Licence: buying a product gives you a personal licence to use the files. Please do not resell, share or upload the files.

Delivery: instant. After payment you can download the files straight away, and you receive an email receipt with a download link. Nothing is posted.

Your record: keep the receipt email as your record of the transaction. For a copy of your transaction details, email ggildenhuys@gmail.com.

Before you pay, the checkout shows your order so that you can review it, correct mistakes or withdraw before you place it.

REFUND POLICY

Our products are digital files delivered instantly. Once a file has been downloaded it cannot be returned, so we do not refund change-of-mind purchases.

If a file is faulty, will not open or does not match its description, email ggildenhuys@gmail.com within 6 months of buying it, with the email address you used at checkout, and you choose: a fixed or replacement file, or a full refund to your original payment method. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.

COOLING-OFF

Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 gives a seven-day right to cancel some online purchases. We treat instant digital downloads as excluded from that right under section 42(2)(f)(iii) (goods that by their nature cannot be returned) and section 42(2)(g) (computer software unsealed by the consumer). This does not affect your rights if a file is faulty or not as described.

PRIVACY NOTICE

Who we are: Gerbrand Gildenhuys trading as Star Stoep, at the address above, ggildenhuys@gmail.com.

What we collect: your name and email address, what you bought and the payment record. Card and bank details are entered on Paystack's payment page; we do not receive your full card number.

Why: to process your order, deliver your download, send your receipt, answer your questions, handle refunds and keep the financial records the law requires.

Voluntary or required: giving your name and email is voluntary, but without them we cannot sell to you or send you the files.

Who sees it: Payhip, which runs this store, and Paystack, our payment provider, each under its own privacy policy. Payhip is based in the United Kingdom, so your information is stored and processed outside South Africa. We do not sell or rent your information.

Marketing: we will not send you marketing emails unless you agree. Any marketing email will include a free way to opt out.

How long: as long as needed for the order, refunds and record keeping the law requires, then deleted.
