Hi, I’m Stella — an artist in my early 30s, working from my bright and cozy home studio in the beautiful city of Salzburg, Austria. Most days you’ll find me painting alongside my studio cat Layla, with a cup of hot chocolate nearby. I’m happiest drawing in charming cafés, wandering through flower markets, and collecting little moments of beauty — the same calm, soft feeling you’ll find reflected in my art.

Before I became a full-time artist, my life looked very different. I hold a Master’s degree in Sociology and worked in the academic field for several years. From the outside, everything seemed like the “right” path — but deep down, I knew something was missing. When the pandemic hit, life slowed down enough for me to finally listen to that feeling. For the first time, I gave myself the courage to change direction and follow what truly made me happy.

I started painting from a small corner of my bedroom. What began as a quiet creative escape slowly grew into something much bigger. Step by step — with a lot of learning, experimenting, and figuring things out on my own — I built my creative business from scratch.

Since then, I’ve sold over 200 original paintings, moved into my dream home studio, taught more than 100 art classes for private groups and companies, and worked on several paid collaborations with brands. Along the way, I didn’t just learn how to paint — I learned how to build a website, run an Etsy shop, grow on social media, and turn creativity into a sustainable business.

It hasn’t always been easy, but it has always been worth it. I truly love what I do.
