Bienvenue

Hello! I'm Zeïba, a Franco-Senegalese creative living in the UK countryside, with my sons, partner, and our fluffy German Shepherd, Saoirse.

I started sewing about six years ago as a way to carve out some time "just for me," and spent many of those early years making bags (you might even spot a few on sale here!). In early 2021, I discovered quilting, and I’ve been stitching stories ever since.

I’m proud to have been an Aurifil Artisan for the past three years, a Maker for FreeSpirit Fabrics since last year and to be partnering with Oliso this year. These collaborations with expert brands have allowed me to grow as an artist, creating alongside industry leaders and working with passionate, like-minded makers who inspire me every day.

Several of the quilts available here, especially the African wax prints, have been featured as patterns in Love Patchwork & Quilting magazine. These pieces draw deep inspiration from my heritage, blending traditional African artistry with modern quilting, and I'm honored to share them as a regular contributor to the magazine.

Fun little fact to wrap things up: it takes a solid three cups of Earl Grey to thaw me every morning. I’m basically 90% tea by midday!
