I’m U-Nam — a musician, guitarist, songwriter, producer, and author who’s spent over 35 years in the music industry. I’ve toured the world as a solo artist, earned multiple Billboard chart hits, and produced several multi-platinum albums. Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of legendary and world-famous artists across soul, jazz, funk, and pop.

While working on my first novel, A Guitar Named Swampy, I tried all the big writing tools — Plottr, Scrivener, Aeon Timeline. They were powerful, but when it came to building timelines, none were simple and visual enough. Too many menus, too many clicks, and no way to just see the story flow at a glance.
I also live with ADHD, so I needed a tool that could keep up with how fast ideas hit me — quick, simple, and visual. Story(Time)Line was built for brains like mine: fast-moving, creative, and always full of ideas.
On paper or a whiteboard it worked better — I could sketch beats and arcs freely. But editing meant erasing, redrawing, and reorganizing everything. So I built Story(Time)Line — the digital version of that clean whiteboard I always wanted: fast, flexible, and intuitive.
It started as a tool for myself — now I’m sharing it with every writer who loves simplicity and clarity. The app is free to use online, and if you’d like more power, the Premium version adds save/load, offline use, and built-in story presets.
