I am Jacques de Villiers, the CEO at Growth Institute. We focus on training and development solutions, which strives to respond to the Knowledge Economy and the Fourth Industrial Revolution by offering sustainable, rewarding and accessible training solutions.

I hold qualifications in HR Management, Management Services, Marketing Management and Post School Education. I am a trained Assessor, Moderator and Skills Development Facilitator and have published or co-published several books, including "Study Skills for Life Success”

Prior to starting the Growth Institute I was a Captain in the South African Police Service, a lecturer at several Colleges, the COO of the Commercial Advancement Training Scheme and the CEO of “Workplace Integrated Training Solutions”.

I chaired two union branches, was a member of two School Governing Bodies, and coached a league winning chess team. I was also a Branch Chairperson of the South African National Sunday School Association.

I have been married for 34 years to Tersia, with whom I share two children and two grandchildren
