About Me
Hi, I’m Eda — the stylist behind Studio Balayage Michigan.
For over 20 years behind the chair, I’ve worked with women who all share the same frustration:
Their hair looks good in the salon, but never quite right anywhere else.
That’s where I realized something most people are never told:
👉 it’s not the technique, it’s choosing the wrong color for your features.
My approach is different.
I don’t just follow trends or guess.
I design color based on your skin tone, contrast, and natural depth so it actually works for you, not against you.
My specialty is soft, dimensional, lived-in balayage that grows out beautifully and fits your lifestyle without constant maintenance.
When you sit in my chair, it’s calm.
It’s personal.
We talk through your hair history, what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what you actually want your hair to feel like — not just how it looks.
Over the years, my work has taken me from local Michigan film sets to styling celebrity clients like Amy McCarthy, Corrina Roshea, and Jack Nasser, and has been featured on FOX2 News Detroit.
Today, I offer a private, boutique salon experience in Birmingham designed to feel peaceful, intentional, and unhurried.
Whether you work with me in person or start with a personalized color analysis, my goal is the same:
👉 to help you feel confident in your hair without second-guessing it.
