I’m Erica, also known as Mango Girl. The nickname came from a slightly embarrassing dried mango addiction during my first Namibia trip and somehow it stuck. I’m originally from the Netherlands, now living in England, and I went to Namibia on a family holiday expecting a nice trip and absolutely nothing more. Instead, I completely fell in love with the country.
The wildlife, the landscapes, the dirt roads, the silence, the people and the feeling of being out there with absolutely nothing around you for miles stayed with me almost immediately.
