Invented in Puerto Rico in 1954 at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, the Piña Colada has been the island's official national drink since 1978. This delightful and refreshing sorbet is my way of bringing a touch of Puerto Rico to you! Chock full of ripe pineapple, fresh lime juice, cream of coconut, and rum, this sorbet tastes just like a Piña Colada with the frosty texture of a Dole Whip. Feel free to omit the rum if you so choose.
I hope you love this egg-free, dairy-free creation and I hope it helps you stay as cool as possible during these sweltering summer days!

About Me
Hello! I'm Lauren and I have an intense passion for ice cream! In 2013, I founded Sweet Lo's Homemade Ice Cream with the mission of sharing the joy of delicious, small batch ice cream with as many people as possible. Through the years, I have refined the recipes offered on this site and I am so thrilled to finally get to share them with you! Thank you for being here! I sincerely hope you develop the same love for homemade ice cream that I have. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out anytime! I'm happy to help in any way possible!
