I’m Katie Mervyn, the founder of Aqua Academy and the author of Swimming From the Start. After more than ten years of coaching competitive swimmers and teaching children to swim, I created Aqua Academy to make swimming instruction feel more personal, positive and easy to understand.

Everything I create is designed to help little ones build confidence, develop strong swimming skills and grow a lifelong love of the water with active adult supervision at every stage.
