About Me
At the height of her career, Tyaisha Blount-Dillon, retired from the Forest Service to focus on her wellness. She now motivates others through her daily battle with Parkinson’s (PD) and has inspired others to do the same by staying motivated and exercising. She served two years on the board of the Emory Udall Center. She is a member of the PD Patient Advisory Board and the Parkinson’s Foundation Outreach Committee.
Occasionally Tyaisha provides consulting for programs giving youth access to environmental literacy. Dillon is an aspiring author of children’s books that will share how their family uses adventures, love, and laughter to overcome adversities. Dillon has an environmental management bachelor’s degree from the University of Mobile and a Master’s in Biosystems Engineering Technology from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
Her sister also taught her to knit and it is a very therapeutic outlet for her!
