Loving yourself is very important, but it can be hard to know where to start. If you are looking for ways to increase your sense of self-love, where do you start? through planning and journaling is one way that is easy to do.
I am a person who has struggled to be able to love myself. I always see myself as not good enough as someone with all the negative thoughts that are always walking around in my head. Honestly, I feel that being a victim I am worthless as a human being when compared to other people. But in the end, I tried to fully accept myself and started to try to know myself which was not easy. I try to write down what I feel and think, what I want. I put it down on a piece of paper without judgment, I let it flow and make it as comfortable as possible.
To start writing a journal, there are no rules that are too excessive, just use paper or books and stationery to write. However, to make it easier to get started some simple pointers you can use to get started should help
First, it's important to find a planner that works for you. There are a lot of different planners out there, so find one that fits your style and needs. Then, start filling it out with all the things you want to accomplish.
Next, it's time to start journaling. Journaling is a great way to track your progress and reflect on your successes and failures. It can also help you stay accountable and motivated.
Finally, be sure to set some time aside for yourself every day. Dedicate at least 30 minutes to an hour each day to doing something that makes you happy. Whether you want such as read a book, talk with friends, take a walk, or just relax in silence, make sure to schedule some "me time" every day. Just enjoy and do what you make happy.

What Is Journaling and How Can It Help With self-love?
Journaling is one way to connect with your thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
When you write in a journal, you are giving yourself space to explore ideas and feelings you were unaware of. This can be very helpful for learning more about yourself.
Apart from keeping a journal, you can also use a planner to help increase self-love. The planner can help you set goals, track your progress, and stay organized. This can help you feel more in control of your life and help you stay on track with your goals and dreams.
Now's the way to Find the Right Planner for Your Needs
Once you have an overview of the different types of planners and journals available, it's time to find the right one for your needs.
Not all planners are created equal, and not all journals are suitable for you. It's important to find one that is both functional and inspiring.
Here are some tips on how to find the perfect planner or journal for your self-love routine:
- Consider your lifestyle and daily routine.
- Think about the type of information you want to track.
- Find a planner or journal with lots of space to write and be creative.
- Make sure the planner or journal inspires and promotes self-love.
Writing down your thoughts and plans can be a huge help. Here are some of the benefits you can expect to see:
- You'll be more organized. When you have your thoughts and plans written down, they're much more likely to get done. You'll be less likely to forget about them, and you'll have a roadmap to follow.
- You'll be more productive. Seeing your goals in black and white will help you to work harder toward them. You'll know what you're working for, and you'll be able to measure your progress.
- You'll feel more in control of your life. When you're in control of your own life, it feels good. You'll be less likely to feel overwhelmed by everything that's going on, and you'll be more able to take action when needed.
- You'll feel happier and more fulfilled. Achieving your goals gives a sense of satisfaction that is hard to replicate. When you're constantly working towards something, you're far more likely to achieve happiness and fulfillment than if you just sit back and let life happen to you.
Tips for Making Time for Selflove Activities
It can be hard to make time for yourself in the hectic modern world, but it's essential to prioritize self-care. One way to make sure that you do this is by regularly scheduling time for activities such as journaling and planning. Take a few moments every day or week to fill out your planner, or make a list of tasks that need to be done in the coming days. Then jot down some ideas or observations in your journal.
It’s important not to overdo it though—while it’s good to dedicate a certain amount of time each day to these activities, the primary goal of these activities should be relaxation and mindfulness. Allow yourself some flexibility with your schedule, and try not to stress if you fall behind on tasks or don’t find yourself writing as often as you’d like—the goal is balance and peace!
Examples of Journaling Exercises to Start With
If the idea of giving self-love some 'me time' through journaling and planning feels a bit daunting, fear not! There are tons of activities that people use to stay focused and positive. Here are a few journaling exercises to start with until you find what works best for you:
- Write down three things you're grateful for each day. Doing this will help put your life into perspective and remind you of all the good things that happened throughout the day.
- Think about a time when you felt truly successful, and write down all the steps that led to that moment. This will help draw on those same feelings when you get stuck in a rut.
- Pick three random topics, and brainstorm ideas around them. Allow yourself to think freely, without any judgment or criticism. This is great for flexing your creative muscles!
- When you figure out what works best for you, it will be easier to stick with it long-term. Take some time every day to appreciate yourself, and see how much it can brighten your mood!
Yes, I know it can be very difficult when you start keeping a journal or planner. But it's okay to just write it down and let it flow.
I remember when I started to dare to write about my feelings and thoughts, I felt very uncomfortable, and I denied my feelings with the truth. However, slowly I can accept all those feelings and slowly redesign what I want in myself. Through the journal, I can get to know myself more.
