Meet Tammie Nichols

Tammie Terrill Nichols is an overcomer, visionary, and trailblazer whose life is a testament to faith, perseverance, and purpose. A graduate of Mississippi University for Women, she is a proud mother of her daughter Trinity Tubbs and the late Terrance and Tyler, who both succumbed to Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). Their journey inspired her to relocate home to Mississippi from North Carolina to start her very own television ministry in their memory to inspire others to keep the Faith. 14 years later she is the 1st Afro American Female in the state of Mississippi to serve as the executive producer and host of her very own television show that currently airs locally, nationally and internationally on Christian Television Network (WEPH -49).

Determined to raise awareness for SMA, her advocacy led to August being proclaimed SMA Awareness Month in Mississippi, recognized by both state and city officials. Beyond television, Tammie is a Certified Teacher, Empowerment Speaker, Ordained Minister, Published Author, and Certified Life Coach using her testimony to uplift others. She’s deeply involved in her community, hosting seminars, conferences, and mentorship programs that empower women to live purpose-driven lives. She played a pivotal role in launching Mississippi’s first Parent Café Model through the Starkville Oktibbeha School District, helping families build stronger relationships. Her dedication has earned numerous accolades, including Mississippi’s Most Influential African American (2018), the Martin Luther King Image Award (2023), and the 2024 Excellence in the Arts Image Award. A nine-time published author, she continues to inspire through books like I Survived Death, Depression & Divorce & You Are Not What They Say You Are.

Newly married to Reynolds Frank Nichols, Tammie resides in Starkville, MS with her blended family continuing her mission to transform lives through faith, resilience, and empowerment.
