I’m Gary Cartwright, a passionate TEFL teacher and trainer with over 21 years of classroom experience in Thailand. I’ve taught students of all ages — from nursery kids to university graduates and working professionals — and trained dozens of new teachers along the way.

I created Teachers Talk TEFL to share the real, proven tools I wish I’d had starting out. It’s now my mission to support, advise, and empower aspiring and new teachers as they begin their TEFL journey.

Alongside practical resources, I also offer recruitment support for those looking to start teaching in Asia.

I also have a deep love for animals and spend much of my time helping the street dogs in my local temple and around my town. I’m currently working on setting up a charitable programme to support their care and wellbeing.
