A.T. Dyer has been infatuated with dinosaurs and paleo-documentaries like the Walking With Trilogy since he was a child. He had also developed a great admiration for fantasy epics such as the Bone series by Jeff Smith and rewatches of Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy, and sought to fuse the elements of documentary realism with character-driven writing and intricate worldbuilding together for his inaugural narrative project, Terrors in the Brush.
