About Me

Welcome to Terry's Library!

A Little Mystery, a Little Wisdom, a Little Magic… and a Whole Lot of Imagination!

Hello! I'm Terry Scrivner, author, creator, clinical hypnotherapist, and someone who has spent much of my life exploring the mysteries of the mind, the spirit, and the world around us.

I've always believed that life is about discovering, learning, growing, and occasionally laughing at ourselves along the way.

That's exactly what you'll find here at Terry's Library.

My book, Walking Between Worlds, shares my personal journey through extraordinary dreams, spiritual encounters, healing experiences, and questions about life beyond what we can see. It's a story about exploring the unknown while encouraging others to discover their own understanding of life's mysteries.

I also created My Symbols Dictionary, a book designed to help people explore the personal meanings behind the symbols that appear in dreams, meditation, and everyday life. I believe our experiences and symbols can hold meanings that are unique to each of us.

A very special creation by Michelle Snider, also a clinical hypnotherapist, Reiki Master, and ventriloquist is Wooden Wisdom Tarot, a 78-card tarot deck designed to make learning tarot more approachable, meaningful, and enjoyable. With its distinctive imagery, symbolism, and storytelling, it encourages readers to trust their intuition and discover the wisdom within each card.

My interest in personal growth and emotional well-being is also reflected in my hypnosis and self-help creations, which focus on understanding ourselves, recognizing our inner strengths, and making positive changes in our lives.

But there's another side to my imagination!

Welcome to the wonderfully unusual world of the Paranormal Pet Adoption Agency, where extraordinary imaginary animals are waiting to find their forever homes! These magical companions come with their own personalities, adoption certificates, pet profiles, and other entertaining documents.

Then there's The Emotional Support Adoption Center, featuring imaginative little characters representing the emotions we all experience. Each one has its own personality, quirks, and special way of helping us look at our feelings with a little more understanding and humor.

And because life shouldn't always be taken so seriously, I've created The School of Life — Officially Certified in Things You Maybe Shouldn't Be Doing!

These beautifully designed novelty diplomas celebrate the questionable talents we somehow manage to develop. Whether you're a certified road hazard, a culinary catastrophe, a computer breaker, or a professional loafer, there's probably a diploma waiting for you!

Some of my creations are meant to inspire thought. Others encourage personal growth, spark curiosity, or offer comfort. And some exist for no other reason than to make you smile.

That's what Terry's Library is all about.

I don't believe everything we create has to fit neatly into one category. Life itself certainly doesn't!

We can explore spirituality, learn about ourselves, enjoy a little mystery, and still have a wonderful sense of humor.

Every book, character, certificate, and imaginative creation here comes from that same belief: life is a journey worth exploring, and imagination makes the journey a whole lot more interesting.

Thank you for visiting Terry's Library. I hope you find something that inspires you, makes you curious, brings you comfort, or simply gives you a good laugh.

Come on in, look around, and enjoy the unexpected!

With warmth and imagination,

J.S.

  • WOW! I absolutely LOVED this book! It was so difficult to put down, that I read it in two sessions. I’m really picky about writing style, and this was written so eloquently! I also think the way it was organized would make it easy for people who find reading difficult at times. The subject matter is something we can all relate to at some point. We’ve all felt similar things, whether we’ve identified and named them or not, like gut feelings and an off feeling when walking into a room, but not knowing why. This book would make an excellent movie!
