About Me
My name is Claire, and I’ve lived through more than 25 years of antidepressant use, many failed tapering attempts, “poop outs,” and the long, painful reality of protracted withdrawal. I know first-hand what it’s like to feel lost, frightened, and unsure if healing is even possible.
This guide was born out of my own journey, from being prescribed antidepressants as a teenager, through decades of being trapped on them, to finally tapering off and surviving the storm of withdrawal. I created it because I wish I’d had a resource like this when I was struggling.
Today, my mission is to share what I’ve learned, to validate your experience, and to remind you that healing is possible, even when it feels impossibly far away. You are not alone, and through my guide, I’m here to walk alongside you with honesty, compassion, and hope.
