Hi, my name is Anna Barton, a mum of six, a theology student, and a woman learning to walk closely with God through the everyday beauty and chaos of motherhood.

I created Held by Grace because I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, unseen, and stretched in every direction — and still want to honour God in the middle of it all. This book was born out of my own journey through faith, fatigue, prayer, and growth. Not as an expert, but as a fellow traveller.

I believe deeply that Scripture has the power to meet us in the mess, not just in the quiet. That prayer can be whispered in a hurry and still reach heaven. And that every mother, no matter how tired, is still God's beloved daughter.
