My favorite part of the parenting class was being able to interact with other parents on the same path I'm on. It can be isolating sometimes to try to parent respectfully. This was amazing.
The activities in the class helped me actually put myself in my child's place. It was way different than just reading about it. She is very engaging.
It was awesome to get o be real in a setting like this. I can already see improvements in my self and my child!

Mothering is Core work. All fields agree on one thing: Family is the Center of it all.
How come we prepare the least for the most important job of them all? Many of us repeat behaviors we do not even know where they came from or how effective they are. We just do it because "It's how I was raised and I turned out fine."
I present a challenge: What if we did NOT turn out fine? What if we desire more than "fine" for our children? What if merely being functional, in spite of our trauma and not because of it, is a mediocre goal? What if we decide to do better? Are our families worth it? I dare say YES.

The fact that you are reading it means that you are on the right path to developing a situation where your child can thrive, and all involved can be in Peace.
Peace does not require always agreeing, liking each other, or having the same styles. It just requires 2 adults without agendas but with a common vision: the child’s wellness.
