About Me
Shalon Logan, a South Carolina native, mother of one son, is known for turning tragedy into triumph. Her resilience and life experience has taught her how to reframe her thoughts and to press forward with a positive outlook. Her parents and grandparents created a solid foundation based on faith, education, travel and career. They challenged her to read, study, and excel to become knowledgeable. As a seeker of knowledge, a true believer, and a lover of travel, she enjoys reading, writing and research. Her desire to learn motivated her to complete her undergraduate degree in Business Administration and her MBA in Human Resources.
After spending time building her career in corporate America, Shalon decided to pursue her doctorate degree. Shalon holds certifications in several areas, many of which she completed out of her sincere desire to learn. Some of the certifications that she holds are part of her passions. A few of her certifications are Leadership in Employee Relations and Engagement, Goal Success Life Coach, Master Life Coach, Professional Life Coach, Happiness Life Coach, Life Purpose Coach, and a certificate in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She also went a step further and became a certified Life Purpose Workshop Facilitator. These certifications not only align with her passions but her true desire to empower others. Shalon holds certifications in countless other areas out of mere curiosity.
Her faith, her passion for motivating others, her life experiences, and her desire to see others grow, led her to write inspiring books. Over the past few years, she became ill, went through a divorce, disconnected from people she thought would be around forever, and faced a near death experience with her son. This changed her desired life path, rattled her confidence, and forced her to find a way to stay positive amid the storms of life.
Psalms 37:4 reminds us, “Delight yourself in Him, and He will give you all the desires of your heart”.
Shalon’s heart’s desire was to rise above it all and to grow from each experience. Learning the power of positive affirmations kept her focused during challenging times. Shalon understands just how quickly life can shift, and how important it is to keep your thoughts aligned with your desired outcome. Her unwavering faith has given her a unique ability to face adversity, and unexpected experiences without being in despair. Her motto is, “A challenge is the foundation for learning something new”.
Psalms 30:5 says, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning”. Shalon has found great hope in this verse of scripture and often says, “Weeping is a possibility, but JOY is a PROMISE”. It is her hope that everyone remembers that JOY is a promise as they plow through every storm and travel through the valleys of life. You MIGHT weep, but you WILL have JOY.
