About Me
Hey, I’m Jason O’Rourke, the creator of The Digital Dugout.
I’m a youth baseball coach and baseball dad who knows firsthand how much work happens behind the scenes of coaching a team.
Practices have to be planned. Lineups have to be built. Players need individual attention. Pitching has to be tracked. Parents need communication. Games and tournaments have to be organized — and most youth coaches are doing all of this while balancing jobs, families, and everyday life.
That’s why I created The Digital Dugout.
I wanted to build practical, affordable tools that coaches can actually use — not complicated systems that create even more work.
Everything here is designed around the things youth baseball coaches deal with every week: practice planning, game-day organization, player evaluations, development tracking, communication, and building better baseball players and young men.
I believe youth coaching is about more than wins and losses. We're teaching baseball, but we're also teaching effort, accountability, teamwork, confidence, discipline, and how to handle failure.
If these tools save another coach some time, help organize one better practice, or help one player get the individual attention he needs, then The Digital Dugout is doing exactly what I built it to do.
⚾ Coach Better. Stay Organized. Develop Players. Build a Team.
