My name is Sharon V. Premprasad, founder & owner of The Eclectic Desi.

I was inspired to start The Eclectic Desi when I saw other Desi small businesses on Etsy and it sparked something in me. A seed was planted, rooted, and continued to grow as time went on.

The Eclectic Desi is a brand that encapsulates both sides of my identity: Western raised with Eastern roots. It makes me happy that our younger generations have a way to show pride and love for our culture. It makes me reminisce on how different my childhood and adolescence would have been seeing women who look like me in the media. 

The world of design is vast and exciting! In addition to my Desi-inspired creations, I offer a curated selection of Non-Desi premade items, as well as the ability to create custom designs that turn your vision into a reality. The great thing about design is that there are no rules! Whether you have a clear vision or need some design inspiration, I'm here to collaborate with you.
