I was born in the Philippines, where my love for language and storytelling started early — nurtured by my mother, an English teacher who first showed me the power of words. Essay and poetry competitions in my youth gave me my first taste of recognition, and by high school, I'd found my voice as a writer. Life then took me to the cruise line industry, which cracked my world wide open — new places, new people, new stories — and led me into travel writing and ghostwriting for others. Along the way, my work found its way into U.S.-based publications, reaching readers I never imagined. Today, I mentor aspiring writers and keep writing research-driven stories meant to move people — not just inform them.
I write for the questions we carry but rarely say out loud.
I'm currently working aboard a cruise ship, but writing has always been my first love. Life — with all its detours — has brought me here: helping people confront the questions that quietly bother them, the ones they hide from others, or the ones others simply never notice they're struggling with.
My books aren't about having it all figured out. They're about sitting with the parts of ourselves we usually avoid, and finding a little more clarity, honesty, and peace on the other side.
If you've ever felt like you're carrying something no one else can see — you're in the right place.
