Founder of The Feelings Garden Wellness
Ebony Black is a holistic wellness practitioner that focuses on herbalism, sound healing, and mental health. She believes healing should feel gentle, intentional, and rooted in your everyday flow. Blending her background in Marriage & Family Therapy with plant medicine, somatic practices, and the ancient wisdom of sound, she creates spaces where people can finally breathe, pause, and reconnect with themselves and others.
Raised in St. Louis and shaped by years of creative living in Chicago and beyond, Ebony carries a deep reverence for culture, community, and the stories our bodies hold. Her work sits at the intersection of wellness, artistry, and spiritual grounding; whether she’s blending teas by hand, guiding a community sound bath, or helping clients reconnect with their emotional selves.
Her apothecary was born from her own healing journey; navigating PCOS, adrenal fatigue, yin deficiency, Candida, and just trusting her body again. Every herbal blend reflects not just knowledge, but lived experience, prayer, and intention. Ebony believes the body speaks in subtle ways, and that herbs, breath, and community are some of our greatest teachers.
Through The Feelings Garden Apothecary, she’s committed to making wellness feel accessible, soulful, and culturally-grounded — especially for Black women, creatives, and anyone seeking a slower, softer way of living. Her mission is simple: to help people feel held, restored, and reminded of their innate power.
