Hi, I'm Julie!

I'm the creative behind The Handcrafted Homestead -- a little corner built from my love of painting, creating, restoring, designing, and turning ideas into something beautiful.

What started as a creative outlet grew into a hand-painted banner business, and somewhere between the paint smears, custom orders, customer messages, due dates, and trying to remember who paid what.... I realized the business side of being creative needed a little love too!

So I started creating the tools and systems I wished I had from the beginning.

Everything you'll find here is designed with real creative small-business owners in mind - practical enough to make running your business easier, but still pretty, simple, and enjoyable to use.

My hope is to help other creatives spend a little less time managing the chaos behind the scenes and a lot more time doing what they actually love: creating!
