Alastair McLoughlin became fascinated with scars and their effects on human physiology. After many years of clinical exploration he designed what has become known as the ‘McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release®’ technique.
His scar work (abbreviated to MSTR®) is quickly gaining recognition as an important technique for the treatment of post surgical and trauma wound scars being learnt and practised by thousands of practitioners worldwide.
Alastair has formed an international teaching team of instructors to take his work forward internationally. MSTR® is now available in many languages including Arabic, Croatian, Dutch, German, Greek, Italian, Latvian, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish.
British born, Alastair now lives and works near Frankfurt, Germany.
