FINDING YOUR UNIQUE FACILITATION STYLE
You're not here to be a carbon copy of other 'new-age' facilitators.
The course provides you with support to be your unique version of a guide for people in the Human Forest ecosystem, including:
- Opportunities to reflect on and share your own experiential stories that you will use to add flavour and weight to your facilitation.
- Activities to understand the facilitator archetypes you have within you and at your disposal.
- Support to acknowledge areas for improvement and what to do about it.
CREATING A GROUP CONTAINER
The dynamics of the group and how you work with them will make or break your event. The course will support you to work with group dynamics, including:
- Using intentions to set and shift the vibe of the space.
- Using 'deep listening' skills to finesse your facilitator antennae to know what the space needs and how to adjust accordingly.
- Working with sexual energy in a way that feels expansive and exciting for yourself and the group rather than stifling and creepy.
- How to inspire a 'brave space' to create greater self awareness, responsibility and growth.
- Working with emotional expression, supporting the current of life moving through bodies in a supportive way.
SHADOWS AND TRIGGER SUPPORT
Since we're all human and various emotional needs arise in us at different times, your understanding of unbalanced relating tendencies (shadows) and how you handle triggers and conflict is important. In the course, you will be guided through modules including:
- Support with basic trauma awareness and how to support people if they are in a triggered state.
- A Conflict Resolution technique to use that once you see this dynamic in the world, you will not be able to un-see it! And you will know how to get out of it.
- Support to create a structure of events that is 'trauma aware'.
- Examples of different unbalanced relating behaviours that show up in the Human Forest.
CEREMONY CREATION
We will walk you through the basics of ceremony for a space like the Human Forest and empowering you to be your own space ceremony creator so people can feel your essence.
In this section you will also find meditations and scripts to connect your event with the land in a considerate way, bringing nature into the room.
PATHS OF EMBODIMENT
The course offers you as a facilitator tips and support to get yourself and others into a state of physical receptivity and body awareness that will support the journey.
This includes supporting people to be aware of their somatic experiences and how to act from this wisdom. Also to know their own boundaries, and how to work with consent in verbal and non-verbal ways.
FACILITATOR COMMUNITY
You will have access to a WhatsApp group of fellow Human Forest facilitators who are also undertaking or have completed the course to:
- connect with through the community thread, ask questions and get to know.
- Share and receive resources.
- Potentially work with other facilitators in different countries if you hit it off!
EVENT ORGANISATION
You will have access to modules specifically supporting you to ease the pressure of event organising, including:
- Add on option to advertise your events through our official Human Forest Project social media
- Marketing your events in a way that feels ethical and hearty so you don't feel like you're selling your soul.
- Organisational check lists to make task allocation easy.
- Refund and cancellation policy script policies.
- Check list and tips to finding the right venue.
- The profit-for-purpose business structure that creates connections with local regenerative organisations, supports our environment and supports you and participants to see that your events are part of a larger ecosystem of our world.

Anatolia and Patrick
We are your course guides Anatolia and Patrick on this journey to becoming a Human Forest facilitator.
We first started running Human Forests in Melbourne post covid lockdowns when people were hungry for touch, connection and community. We then took our Human Forests on tour up the east coast of Australia, to England, Portugal, Greece, France, Germany before creating this online course to help support budding facilitators.
We're not your gurus, guides, teachers, or owners of the Human Forest experience - no one is. We're just two people who believe in this experience and want to see it shared around the world with care and freedom like a wild organism without being trademarked and capitalised.
