About Me

Pastor Donna L. Butler was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Bartholomew and Dorothy Claiborne. She is a product of the New Orleans Public Schools and went on to further her education, receiving a Bachelor of Psychology degree from Southern University at New Orleans, a Master of Psychology from University of Phoenix. Presently, she is a student at Hood Theology Seminary in Salisbury, NC pursing a Master of Divinity degree.

She was licensed and ordained at Christian Unity Baptist Church in New Orleans, Louisiana. Because of her gifting, she has served pastors from many denominations: Baptist, Apostolic, Church of God in Christ, United Church of Christ, Non-denominational, Pentecostal, Holiness, and United Methodist.

God prepared her to be the servant pastor of The Door Evangelistic Outreach Ministry. This ministry is an evangelistic outreach ministry serving outside of the church walls and has been instrumental in efforts to connect pastors and their congregations to those she serves as part of her outreach/street ministry. In recognition of her ministry service, in 2021, the Mayor of High Point North Carolina named December 11th as The Door Evangelistic Outreach Ministry Day, and Pastor Butler as Street Preacher of High Point, North Carolina.

She is passionately known as “Pastor D,” and now "AD" a name passionately given to her by the youth, young adults, and those whom she serves in the community.

Now, she is a "first time author".

Apostle Butler is the mother of three, grandmother of seven, and one great granddaughter, Lennox. In fact, those three children were her first Youth Choir and Sunday School members. Apostle Butler has a passion for studying, preaching, and teaching God’s word. Her love for the community and for the people of God, as well as her compassion for young people and their families can be seen throughout her life and her ministry. Her aspiration in ministry is to continue to serve God and be a positive catalyst for change in her church, community, city, state, country, and in the world.
