Hey!

I am Destinee'. I am primarily a poet based in Central Georgia. I have been writing for years, but my focus area has always been in poetry.

A quite interesting thing to know about me is that I am technically inclined with a Science degree in IT. However, my passions have always been in design and art. I play 3 instruments (Flute, Saxophone, and Piano). I am professionally trained and most versatile as a floutist.

I was driven to poetry in my early High School career in which I was advised to take Creative Writing. The Starter Pages - 2 is actually a collection of works from this class. This collection is my most peer-reviewed and my first sensitive collection. I consider it to be such because my professor really encouraged me to dig deeper into myself to help my audience feel the emotions as I felt them whilst also leaving room for interpretation.

I hope to make The Love Garden my own personal safe haven for readers alike. Lovers who struggle as I have or just those who enjoy diving into the thoughts that I've had in the many walks of life. Comments are welcome and encouraged! I want to hear your experience on how my writing approached you.
