I'm Alia, your faery goblinmother. Poet, mother, and Shadow Alchemist.

My work lives at the intersection of shadow alchemy, somatic experience, and cyclical living. I write from a background in psychology and a life that has asked me to descend more than once, long before postpartum and matrescence taught me the same lesson in a new language. I know what it means to survive things that shaped me before I had the words to name them. I know what it means to keep finding my way back to the light despite it all.

I don't do toxic positivity. I do the real work: going into what's been buried and turning it into gold.

Through the Shadows is the first fieldguide born from that descention. It's a guide built from what I needed and couldn't find, so I made it myself.

I also write poetry (Chai & Sunshine) and read Oracle cards, but at the core, I'm just someone who believes healing isn't a straight line, and that the shadow isn't something to fix but rather something to meet.

This is what's on the other side of surviving.
