Welcome! I’m Richard Roman, a children's book author, Certified Peer Specialist, and community mentor from Upstate New York. I write action-packed, educational adventure stories designed to teach kids about history, teamwork, and resilience.

​Drawing from my own life experiences living with a spinal cord injury, I regularly visit local schools and nursing homes to mentor others, share my journey, and help children and individuals with disabilities overcome their struggles. Above all, I am a proud family man who treasures spending time with my daughter and my granddaughters, who serve as a constant source of inspiration.
