I Am Done Censoring My Frequency

When you return from a place that completely altered the trajectory of your life, people naturally ask: "How was your trip?"

How do you explain to a non-spiritual person that you didn't just go on a vacation—you went to war with your old self, and you won?

How do you casually mention over coffee that while you were sitting by the ocean, you were actually:

  • Healing your nervous system from years of survival mode.
  • Slaying your inner demons and confronting the shadows you’ve avoided for a lifetime.
  • Transforming generational trauma and current life blockages right down to the root.

You can’t. Not without getting the blank stares, the polite nods, or the subtle vibe that you’re being "too much" or a bit "cringe."

But you know what? I don't actually mind being cringe, because it is better than being fake. I can no longer answer "Oh, it was great! The beaches were beautiful, the weather was amazing."

The truth is, Zanzibar wasn’t a holiday; it was a spiritual crucible. I didn’t just get a tan; I accidentally dismantled my entire old ego and built an unshakeable badass from the ground up. Oh, and mid-transformation, I also managed to build a whole new business from scratch.

The inner shift was so massive that it demanded to be put into words. That raw, real, and unfiltered process of rebuilding myself is exactly what poured out of me and became my workbook. It’s the exact guide and blueprint to the inner work I had to do.

(If you are ready to stop avoiding your own shadows and actually do the heavy lifting, you can find the workbook linked here: The OK Academy - Payhip )

Since coming back to Sweden, I haven’t even tried to adapt. The thought of filtering my speech, downplaying my spiritual growth, or editing my truth just to keep someone else’s comfort zone intact hasn't even crossed my mind. Why? Because that old, people-pleasing version of me is completely dead. There is nothing left of her to resurrect.

I am completely done explaining myself. I am done censoring my frequency or making myself smaller. If my growth makes people uncomfortable, that is a reflection of their boundaries, not my reality.

I don't need to translate a deep, soul-shaking spiritual rebirth into a casual "it was nice" anymore. My energy has shifted, my boundaries are up, and the old version of me is officially out of service.

So from now on, when they ask how it was, I’ll just smile. The right people won't need an explanation—they’ll just feel the frequency 🦅✨
