I'm Brittany, the person behind The Office Goblin.

I've spent years working around business administration, insurance, printing, governance, and the practical behind-the-scenes work that keeps businesses running.

I've also spent plenty of time discovering that the information you actually need is often buried three clicks deep in a government website, written in language nobody uses in real life.

The Office Goblin came from wanting to make that information easier to understand and actually use.

I created this handbook for the person who knows their work — whether that's freelancing, contracting, creating, consulting, or running a small business — but doesn't necessarily know all the administrative stuff that comes attached to being self-employed.

I'm not here to make running a business sound more complicated than it is.

I'm here to help you figure out what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, and where to find the answer when you need it.

That's the goblin's job.
