I spent my whole life thinking I was right. I took things personally. Blamed others for why I did things and became defensive at every conflict. I thought this was just who I was; my personality, my character. Until I started asking myself more questions. It was then I realised that my truth wasn't the only truth. It was simply the story I was telling myself. I started reframing my words, what I thought about myself and how I viewed situations. It wasn't easy, it was uncomfortable and confronting. It still is. But now I'm able to take the time to pause, reflect and ask more questions. I hope you can too.
