The Rebel Lore Vault has grown quite a bit since I first opened it.
What started as a place where I could sell my books directly to readers now holds multiple series, complete trilogies, premium print editions, preorders, the Vault VIP Club, and books spanning several different fictional worlds.
That created a good problem to have. There were a lot more books in the Vault, and there was also a lot more for readers to sort through.
So I just gave The Rebel Lore Vault one of its biggest updates yet.
===> Check out the new-look Vault VIP Club today
You can now browse the Vault by collection
Visit the main shop and you’ll notice something new near the top: There is now a second menu dedicated entirely to collections.
Instead of scrolling through page after page of books and trying to figure out which ones belong together, you can jump directly into different parts of the Vault.
Want my books in one place?
You’ll find my entire collection of works.
What if you ONLY wanted to explore the Renegades Epic Shared Universe?
You can go straight there and get your hands on the 20+ books with more to come.
Looking specifically for Arcane Elemental Academy or Beyond the Lost?
Those now have their own places too.
It sounds like a relatively simple change, but it completely transforms how I want readers to experience the Vault.
The goal was never to build a giant wall of products, because I want you to find a world you’re interested in and start exploring it.
The individual book pages got an upgrade too
The bigger change may be happening once you actually click on a book.
Books are now connected directly to the series they belong to.
Take Cursed Mage, for instance.
If you find Kaija Jokiharju and decide the Catenarian Chronicles look like your kind of fantasy series, you no longer have to return to the main shop and search around for Astray Mage or Rising Mage.
The rest of the series is right there.
That means a reader can discover Cursed Mage, learn about Kaija, jump into Astray Mage, find the Rising Mage preorder before its March 1, 2027 release date, or check out the premium print edition without figuring out where everything is hiding.
The same idea applies elsewhere in the Vault.
A book shouldn’t feel like an isolated product when it belongs to a much larger story, and now it doesn’t.
This gets more important as the Vault keeps growing
When there were only a handful of books available, putting everything together worked, but that gets messy when the catalog starts expanding.
The Rebel Lore Vault now includes fantasy, dark fantasy, dystopian, post-apocalyptic stories, interconnected series, complete trilogies, newer releases, older books, premium editions, and more still on the way. Eventually, readers need something better than a storefront that says, “Here are all the books. Good luck.”
Collections give the Vault some structure, and more importantly, they give each series room to stand on their own.
Someone who discovers Beyond the Lost should be able to explore Beyond the Lost without digging through twenty unrelated books first. The same goes for a reader who only wants Arcane Elemental Academy.
And someone discovering the Renegades Epic for the first time should actually be able to see that there is a much larger universe waiting behind whichever book brought them there.
The Rebel Lore Vault is getting bigger than a bookstore
That has probably been the biggest shift in how I look at the Vault myself.
I don’t want this to be another online shop where a reader lands on a product page, buys something, downloads it, and disappears.
The books, characters, and some of the worlds connect. Even the series that stand completely on their own have an identity, so the storefront should reflect that.
I want someone who enjoyed Kaija’s story to immediately see where they can find more of it, and for a reader intrigued by Yote Diamondback and Arcane Elemental Academy to have a single hub to follow that series.
And if somebody discovers one corner of the Renegades Epic, I want it to be ridiculously easy for them to discover another.
I’m not finished with it yet
There are already a lot of stories inside the Vault. That number is only going to keep growing, which means the way readers discover them has to grow with it.
The new collections and series sections are a big part of that, so if you haven’t looked around The Rebel Lore Vault lately, now is a good time.
You may find that it looks a little different, but finding your next world inside it is a whole lot easier.
