Loved the ending

Another fun read. This one felt like there was a lot more build up before we REALLY got anywhere but the ending definitely left me wanting more.

Uncovering Truth

Received as an ARC, I am leaving my honest review. A wild ride indeed! I became totally absorbed in the continuing story of Kaila and her sister as they adjust to new schooling, new rules and awesome advancements. But something is amiss. After a visit from the spirit of a young girl, killed in Astronova by a fusion bomb, a dark truth starts to surface. The story quickly becomes a gripping, suspense filled, action packed plot that held my attention while the twists and turns keep you guessing outcomes, while rooting for Kaija and her newfound powers. The ending is epic, and an eye opener to how truth can be hidden as underlying plans are made. I am really looking forward to the next episode!

Not everything is as it seems

So many plot twists and turns. Kaija is uncovering truths as she goes, after meeting Annikki, a ghost of one of the children killed in the bombing of Astranova. While trying to help her sister with blending into life outside of the dark place, Kaija has to focus on her magic and helping the spirit.
I enjoyed quite a few of the revelations in this book and it will be interesting to see where they go from here, in the next book
